Eerie night lighting falls over a pair of linocuts for the upcoming show Creep.

Here, we take a break to photograph the results of our hard work on prints for the show Creep (at the ever welcoming Starshaped Press.) We thought you might like to see how we plan out a typical reduction linocut print (where more and more of a single block is carved away after each color pass, as opposed to a multiple color print created with a separate linoleum carving for each color.)
So, here at Slow Industries, we’ve been working around the clock to get everything printed, trimmed and framed for our upcoming solo show at Abecedarian Gallery in Denver, Colorado. (April 15th opening!) The accountants have authorized the purchase of as many retro gold metal tabletop frames as necessary, so we’ve gone a little crazy, and nowhere more so than at the Salvation Army Thrift Store on Clybourn here in Chicago.
